LEATHER CARE
CARING FOR YOUR LEATHER
Today’s leather is produced with safety in mind. No longer are nasty solvents used in the training and finishing of leather. This has led to advanced technology finishes that are designed to give the leather a nice feel and to help you get maximum life from your leather, as long as it is cared for.
Tanneries only guarantee leather for 12 months. Tanning problems will usually surface in that time but, after that, most issues are due to lack of maintenance, which is not guaranteed.
So, to get the best performance from your leather and to maintain its natural characteristics, it is therefore VERY IMPORTANT to care for your leather regularly. Please remember that leather is NOT minimum maintenance. It needs to be cared for.
SIMPLE CARE HINTS
The leather care hints listed below are designed to simplify leather care for you. Follow these hints regularly and you will keep your leather in good condition and maintain its natural characteristics.
Through use, all leather furniture soils, whether dark or light in colour. Soiling is more obvious on light coloured leathers. So, it is important to establish a Regular Care Habit for your leather from day one.
